Adaptability

There is no question this is one of the most challenging years in history for anybody in the real estate field. Brokers have been hit very hard, and those of you that have survived up to this point have realized that being able to adapt is the key to survival.

Are We Near The Bottom?

Upbeat economic reports and a generally positive start to earnings season have driven equities higher lately.  The broader S&P 500 index rose to its highest close since early November on July 20th.  The markets were boosted in part by an emergency bail-out from bondholders at beleaguered commercial lender CIT Group which has temporarily allowed them to stave off bankruptcy.

Even with all this positive news I still feel as if the media was given direct orders to put positive spin regardless of how bad the story is. They have failed to address our ongoing unemployment and pending foreclosures being held up to the recent 90 day moratorium.
